Can anybody help? after 2 months I cannot find why my 2.5 DSE is misfiring. I need an electrician with P38 experience. Testbook shows an error (crankshaft sensor invalid value) which I am assured does not exist - a new sensor has been fitted & checked by two garages including Swindon 4x4 RR specialist. They reckon its an ECU problem. But the ECU Doctor has checked it out and says it is definitely not faulty. Sometimes it will not start at all, and twice swapping relays it has started immediately - so I have replaced all the relays and a new fuse box, also new battery, new ignition switch, new fuel pump, alternator checked and passed as perfect. My Faultmate show one issue constantly - no voltage to ABS ECU pin 1 when ignition on. I wonder where the voltage is going, but suggest to a garage & they say it is not connected to the engine. I say yes but if voltage may be getting shorted out somewhere maybe that is the problem. So I need an electrician with a bit of experience and not someone who will reply on Testbook. All suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.
