Right folks - an update.

K 5ive and I have been in touch by PM and I've sent him by Paypal a moment ago the £85He should confirm on here later on at some point that he's got the money and then over to Greeni to stop wrestling the Carp and send the box :)

Good sentiment on your part, but this is just pandering to someone who could not wait a reasonable amount of time for Greenie to send a part to them (and yes whiny OP I agree a pm acknowleding receipt of funds would have been nice).

I really hope this get's sorted amicably, so that maybe then the mods can delete all the bull**** threads that are linked to this tuning box sale!

Party Monkey - you are one stand up guy.

If Ky-boy was as genuine as you he would do the decent thing & refund your money (letting you donate to whoever you wish at your leisure), issue an apology & perhaps think about things before making an ass of himself in future.
 
If it's on the way to Spain already then all good. He gets his box double quick and then he sorts out the funds in the way I described in the earlier post. :) If he doesn't then I'm gonna look like a bit of a tit but then there are some rather good causes that get fooked over and that's the most important thing here.

Yep, agree completely with those who say it's pandering. Nothing to do with me whatsoever, so why am I involved??? Dunno really...seemed like a good idea at the time for a bit of a social experiment. And before anyone asks.... I wont be doing it again :D

It will sort itself out eventually and then I'll tell you my logic and then the mods can do with it what they will.....

What about those of us that can't be arsed about waiting for your experiment to complete it's cycle, are you testing the integrity of UK/foreign hippo owners or just LZ in general????

Sorry - bad choice of words on my part on previous post. I actually expected my offer to be turned down, given the fuss that had been made about the integrity of others.... that was what I was curious about.

It wasn't, I made the offer all fair and square so had to stick with it.

Now in the long run - Greeni and K 5ive will sort themselves out over the box and then K 5ive will uphold his end of the deal and spread the money back out as previously posted.

And if none of that happens then it proves I'm a well meaning gullable knob and they're both a couple of cnuts.

I had offered my unit to k5**** if greenies didn't show, so now to keep my word it should really belong to you..The unit is good I just i felt it over works the injectors and fuel pump so i stopped using it, so it's just laying around attracting dust. I have no paper work for it, but someone on here should be able to provide it.
If you pm me your address I'll send it to you and you can sell it to recoup your losses or use the money as you see fit, or if you'd rather i'll e-bay it and donate the funds where ever you choose.

I will play this as asked and when and if the box turns up I will refund the money and do as asked, you have my word as a 600+ 100% ebay feedback person. I will also apologise. If in a month no box what are you all going to deduce then? ;)

1/ Sooking on an open forum

2/ Slagging off a forum member on an open forum (instead of sorting it out in private)

3/ For accepting an offer from a 3rd party that had no involvment at all, (you should have done the decent thing and refused the offer, but thanked him for the gesture) bad form in my book!

4/ Not being able to shut the hell up and deal with it

5/ Thinking yourself so damn selfrightious

I for one am abhorred by your actions, particularly accepting the offer.

No morals, shame on you!

Gotta agree with streelander ere....:D How low that K 5ive has to resort to takin money off other peeps who have no involvement in the situation... just so he is not out of pocket... its ok party monkey is instead...:rolleyes:


IMO...If you lose 85 notes for the box that does not appear then put it down to experience.

Have you no pride? You have made yourself look like an overgrown child through all this. The honourable thing would to have refused the money from the 3rd party but thanked him anyway. I am looking forward to your apology to Greenie. I would like to know your Ebay ID so I can ban you from ever buying anything from me. I dont think you will disclose the ID will you. Anyway, I wish you well and I trust this will end up amicable in all parts.:)

What a real prize you've turned out to be. Two members on here have actually gone out of their way for you big style with one offering a free box & the other actually covering off any possible (though in reality non existent) loss & you're still making little digs.
People like you really make me sick!

Party Monkey & mjrimmer - You're both true gents & I would like to seriously thank you on behalf of the tw@t who it would appear takes & takes but offers nothing but wingeing. It's good to see that people like you do still exist, but I do wish the "recipient" had been more worthy.
