Hello everyone. Ive got a problem. 5 months ago i had changed head gasket, due to air in cooling system. But after that cant find proper position for timing chain. Or better to say not for the chain but for the head sprocket. I have aligned chain with head sprocket, and crankshaft sproket and 1 cyl. But on the camshaft there are 3 cuts for bolts... and after loosing bolts a bit you can change time of injection and valve opening. So what is the proper adjustment? if i set injection time earlier engine became noisy especially on low revs... but pulls nice. If i set it little bit later, it became quite... but pulls less fast... what is a proper set? Injectors are set correctly.

You need to get a workshop manual as there are several critical adjustments that need to be made to get the timing right. I take it you never used any locking pins when you took the head off? Have you seen the bronze coloured chain links?

Yeah i linked em all with marks...

I think today i found a solution! cleaned all MAP, MAF AAP sensors... and now its fast as a hell! I have hawkeye, so i found that airflow was lower then normal about 40% of normal.. cleaned it.. and now it is as new!

BTW i wanna ask a question, i use mud tires.... kumho KL71 265/75/R16 and at speed of 120 km/h i have a vibration.... tried to balance tires... but vibration still present.... what should i look for to solve that problem?

Glad you sorted it. Did you clean or change the main air filter while you were at it?

No idea about the vibes mate you need to talk to a tyre shop. Its probably the fact that off road tyres are not supposed to go that fast. I have all terrain tyres and at certain speeds I get a very slight vibration from the tyre treads despite my wheels being perfectly balanced. It all depends on the weather and what speed I'm doing.

Well, i didnt change air filter yet.... but with next oil change (in 1k Km) i am going to do this.

Also concerning vibration.. i think then problem is because of used rubber thing on the rear shaft... its completely worn out.

BTW today i did connect my hawkeye computer during driving. And found that air input temperature goes from -20 to +119 in a fews seconds. I guess i need to change gauge

What gauge do you think needs replacing? and why?

The gauge that measures manifold pressure and temperature of input air... it is just in input manifold....
