Roof, sides and rear bits!

Ok folks, I asked this recently but didn't explain myself well enough.

I have a 90 truck cab but would like a van or CSW back end.

I have looked on ebay a bit but not a lot there.

I am guessing I need roof, sides, read door and maybe rear panels either side of door?

Does this sort of thing come up or am I looking at silly money?

I'm based in Devon if anyone knows of anything going....

You need a roof and sides for definate. rear door you can either use a full length one (quite a few on ebay)or keep your tailgate and have a lift up top section.
Shame you're so far away as I got a 90 roof which I was going to put on ebay.
Rear panels either side of rear door are part of the sides.

Know anyone who might want a truck cab, tonneau cover with struts to keep it up? I am in Devon so south west ideally.

My mate has just converted his, he was very fussy about what he was buying, had to be mint condition, no sunroof, no ribs on top and with back door...cost a few hundred quid but he about broke even when he sold the truckcab on ebay. Try a breakers yard for one that has had a shunt or autojumbles/shows or even fleabay

sold my complete td5 hard top for £350 and bought the blokes td5 truck cab for £125 good deal i thought :biggrin1:

hi how hard was it to change to a soft top and where did you get the hood ect from as it was someting i ave been thinking about. any help would be good thanks

Very easy, IIRC you only need to drill 4 holes to put the hood stick clamp bolts through. If you already have a truck cab then you will only need to drill a few holes for the rope loops to rivet to. if you have a full roof then you will need to put the tabs down the side of the bodywork too -rivets again.
