Good evening chaps

I am trying to find a set of roof bars to put mine and the mrs's bikes on.
I don't no where to get some from and if there all universal etc! I don't want anything that looks horrific by sticking out a foot either side of the car

Any help would be much appreciated

Stu

I got mine from Thule. The basic square bars, cos I use them for work (ladders & timber etc). They are easy & quick to fit and remove. They also do the rounded aero types.

I'm also thinking of roof bars to fit my roof box. I'm guessing the Thule fit directly into the roof channels?
The genuine LR rails are indeed V expensive on the bay & i'm not too keen on them anyway.

Yep, the Thule bars fit directly into the roof channels.

...how expensive you say?

THIS expensive!

I got some Thule ones too. They were about £150 with the fitting kit I think.

It's worth mentioning that if you think you'll need the extra width, IMO a RR can easily take the 150cm width ones. Thule recommend 135cm for ours I think, and they're well inside the roof line.

Cheers Guys,
ebay is odd at times, i sold my Touareg roof bars on there for £270. £220 new from the dealers:confused:

awsome thanks for your help ill go on the hunt at the weekend.

can you get the thule one from halfords or just there website?

I found the one in the link the cheapest by far-I checked all other suppliers-Halfords was much dearer.
