want to put a search light on roof of my 300tdi disco, thinking in middle between sunroofs but needs to be high enough to cover all angles, worked from inside vehicle by hand, can only find stuff from the states, anyone know of uk companies and has anyone fitted themselves, need for carrying out pest control work on large farmland areas, thanks

You don't see new ones now, only s/h on ebay somtimes, they were a 60's thing on rally mini coopers just like the outside A piller mounted ones. I think it needs a google search to find one. And 'Save the Bunnies OK'

Jabsco and golight both do remote ones. Jabsco's are easy to come by over here. Golight are harder to find as hey are generally from the states. There are some of each on ebay.

just a few places that sell um. might be worth speaking to Uttings aswell (www.uttings.com) as they used to supply a Deben system and another similar system that uses a smaller lamp.
also speak to your local taxi office - most private hire cabs now use remote control spotlights to signal they've arrived instead of using their horn.
