Rocker cover bolts worth replacing or not?

Hey guys, going to be taking the rocker cover off soon to replace harness, id it worth changing the rocker cover bolts too?

Rocker cover bolts are fine to reuse.

Need a dab of RTV around the halfmoon on the rear.

No but they do have little rubber seals on the bolt "top hats"

I didn't change them as I am a tight wad!

Hi, if yours are old/perished & you have any signs of oil leaking/misting it will be worth replacing them. I used BP ones & the rubber part started perishing within weeks (but they don't leak like the old ones), see pic, having said that I still haven't got round to fitting my genuine ones yet. Bolts are fine to reuse just don't overtighten them as the top hat collar bites into the alloy housing.

Thanks for the reply guys! I found a spare genuine rocker gasket whilst cleaning out the garage a few months back so will be fitting that as well, fingers crossed it all goes smoothly
