Hello all
I do not own a landrover but i would like to ... hence the reason for joining mainly ... I do own a 1963 rover p4 and am a memebr of the guild
I would like to ask ANYBODY ... this ... i have a wife, daughter and dog and would like to go around europe the summe after next ... giving me time to prepare ... I was thinking of a defender 110 lwb deisel .... am i looking in the right direction? ... I would like to be able to sleep securely in the vehicle if necessary hence the lwb ... waht is the main differences .. (apart from the obvious one ... size ... and what would anyone reccomend ... I really only have about £6K to consider spending .... ANY advice would eb appreciated

It sounds like you are in need of either a 110 or 130. For reliability a 200tdi or 300tdi engine would most suit your needs. (approx 1991-1998). Is your 6k budget for just the vehicle or the vehicle AND any modifications?
