right , went oot laning today , half way through i heard and felt my whole vehicle shudder like something was snagging on every wheel revoloution.
it happens when im coasting and when im in reverse.
any ideas?
 
I'm very new around here, but couldn't it be something relating to the propshafts / halfshafts if a joint has shattered or a bar has bent? Take a good look

yeah i will do.
it sounds as if one of the half shafts is twisting through the driving member or the diff flanges splines are slipping.
 
Ah I see so it only happens when the wheels are driving the transmission, or in reverse. I'd still check yer brakes first cos it's the easiest but does sound like the transmission bits.
 
you know the more i think about it , the more im thinking the tranny brake may have been partially stuck on.
