The car started having reverse lights on all the time but it's now only when in reverse or park I wondered if anybody knew why, I'm thinking something needs adjusted??

Reverse switch is in XYZ switch. Mostly likely cable needs adjusting see RAVE for details.

Cable may also need lubrication, try working the lever back a forth from #1 to P a few times.

I did that data when it was on all the time now its just park and reverse, strange though until I have becm problem and parked car up 10 days it never did it at all lol

what is/was your BeCM problem....iirc, the shift lights are controlled via the BeCM (I could be wrong!)

It was just totalled wouldn't do anything but I think it's an adjustment underneitgh it's needing

There now on in gears park, reverse and 2 lol could it by xyz switch

Yes, but does the gear selection show on the message centre correctly? If it does I would be looking at the BECM connections.

OK I've check all connections to becm and all OK so I went underneath and disconnected rod to arm on xyz switch and noticed if I pulled it a few mm past the arms attachment hole reverse lights went of in park so I wondering if I get the lock nut loose and adjust rod so its a bit shorter so in turn a but tighter should it work
