Hi All,
I'm new to Landy's and in particular the 2001 V8 Disco2 which I've aquired, also this is my first post on the forum!. Having read some forum threads regarding the 3 amigos, find that most folks get concerned when their ABS, TC, and HDC come on....., my problem is that my 3 amigos lights DON'T come on when the ignition is turned on for the system self check. I've confirmed that the ABS doesn't work after taking the car for a spin, and standing on the brake results in locked wheels. I suspect that the ABS has caused an alarm condition at some point in the past, and previous owner has been 'in there' and managed to disconnect something to disable the dash warning lights. The thing is, I'd like to get whatever the problem was, fixed, so in order to have a starting point, I'd like to get the dash lights working again and work from there.
Has anybody got any clues as to where I'd start looking to get my dash lights working again - perhaps a fuse has been pulled or a connector removed? Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks Folks
Jim
