Hi,

I am new here, and am looking for advice about P38s. My only experience of 4x4s are Jeeps. My last one 05 model, suffered catastrophic gearbox problems. I need to tow a caravan back to the UK and will need to buy a car to do this. I rather fancy a P38. I'm not convinced about the 2.5 diesel (the last Jeep produced 218bhp-390ft/lb and towed satisfactorily), its power seems quite low. So I think I'm after a 4.6 with LPG.

Can anyone advise on which P38 and what sort of problems I should look for? E.g. I have recently seen photos of a P38 which was peculiarly angled down at the back - was that air suspension problems?

Cheers
