Hi i am going to fit the above to my discovery 2 52 plate as i got to change the front of the transfer box as i got no diff lock in mine was wondering if anyone has done it and if so how difficult is it to bend the rod to get the right length that goes to the high and low leaver on the transfer box and if i cut a wire at the bcu will the diff light come on and the TC work together with the diff and were is the plug to fit the diff wiring into any help would be great

d2 uses a cable to hi/lo lever on t/box ,if you change front housing you need to check diff bearing preload,as housings all vary slightly and the shim is behind the bearing race in the front housing

I have been thinking of buying a whole tranfer box as cheaper than buying just the front and do a swap what you think
I already have a transfer box with CDL but not connected (was installed by the previus owner as the original Tbox has failed, but he has not connected the CDL) so I might connect it as well in the near future. For this you need a new cable linkage which is easy to fit. You can get it from here for example:
