Hi there,
I have been looking at the Sticky which details all the part numbers for the 110 kindly provided at the start of the forum and, they may be daft , but I have a couple of questions if I could ask please...
I have a 2004 Defender CSW XS which is generally well straight and in nice condition but some of the paintwork has been tackled by an amateur, and I am serious about getting a complete respray. I am looking into changing the thin black rubber seal inbetween the rear window panels and lower body and the one inbetween the roof and the window panels at the same time as well as the rear window seals (not the sliders they are ok) . Also changing the sunroof seal as it has not been masked properly when a panel repair was sprayed at some time in the past.
The part numbers listed do say from certain chassis numbers, but I wondered if there was another reference I should look at due to the age of the car, or are all the parts the same from then to 2004?
Also, I may have missed it but some of the exterior door handles have slight overspray and I would look to change them all but cannot see the part numbers in that book. Some of the items on Paddock for example do not have reference pictures and I would hate to end up with the wrong items.
Finally, any recommendations for a quality body shop in West Midlands area would also be appreciated. I have one quote with me supplying new parts for them to fit (a company who repaired vandal key damage to the other half's peugeot very well) but any others as recommended would be greatly appreciated.
