Reprogramming Alarm Fob

Hi I wonder if anyone can help. Just aquired my 5th Land Rover. This time a Discovery 3.9 ES on an N plate. Batteries in remote fob (single button) were flat and now replaced. They need to be reset to the car and I am told there is a sequence of button pushes etc. to achieve this.
Can any one tell me how to do it?

When I bought a new fob from Mobiletuning, who I can recommend for good service, I used the following procedure shown on their web site.

So is that procedure for a new fob or just a new battery in an old fob?
