Hi there, I've just come back from a trip to Morocco and I'm in the process of writing it up, for my own benefit as well as for others. How do I post it?

It will be Open Office or Word format with lots of pictures so quite a large file size, any advice would be welcomed.

Cheers
Dave

Not everyone has Word (or any form of office). I would suggest once you have made the document in Word, convert it into pdf (opens in Adobe Acrobat Adobe, which is free). To convert into PDF, use Cute PDF (CutePDF - Create PDF for free, Free PDF Utilities, Save PDF Forms, Edit PDF easily.).

If you struggle, send the file over to me, I will convert it, and can host it online for you if you so wish.

Regards

Alex

Thanks for that Alex, I've just tried and it converts using a right click on the mouse. Great idea.

All I have to do now is finish writing it - hope others will find it interesting:eek:   :(

"Tried to buy a Chateau" - we're not in the same league mate - we tried to buy a shed - and it did!!!!!

Roughly speaking, imagine a triangle based on Montluçon, Limoges & Chateauroux and we would be about in the middle.

Nearest city - pah!!! Nearest sheep or cow mate :D :D :D

Can't promise to find it interesting *grin* but definitely keen to take a look when you're done writing it! :)

Well you rotter, and there I was slaving over a hot keyboard assuming everyone would be rivetted by my work of art - NOT !!!!!!:D :( ;)

However, all joking aside, when we were, ahem:eek: , planning our trip, getting hold of up-to-date info about prices of stuff was proving to be difficult, so it's this that is driving me to produce my weighty tome.

You can be the judge of it's usefulness -
