Replacing LR parking sensors with aftermarkets

Hi All,

have decided to whip out the standard parking sensor set up (which is not working) and fit a new set from Ebay.

Rather than hacking into wiring, I want to use the reverse light feed and ground from the standard sensors.

Question is, what colours are the 2 wires that I need to use? Have searched ad nauseum and have not been able to find out.

Also, are there any electronic issues further up the line I haven't considered, such as the horn not working or something silly like that>

Can anyone please help?

This would be a worthwhile mod, my park sensors are useless, they just make random beeping noises when I reverse with no actual relevance or reference to anything that one is approaching!
Which ones did you go for and did you get them wired up?

I ended up with these CISBO CAR REAR REVERSING PARKING SENSORS 4 SENSOR AUDIO BUZZER ALARM CANBUS KIT | eBay

Reason I picked these was the choice of colours for the sensors but, importantly, the kit had got some good reviews.

The sensors were a little small, so I had to pad them out with some insulation tape.

I haven't wired them in yet, this wire colour issue is holding me back, but I think I have found the answer, although just waiting for something to download. Will post answer when I get it.

Think I got it now.....

Reverse gear signal goes into pin 6 of 16 pin plug. Ground is pin 8.

No idea what colours they are, will post tomorrow when I resume hostilities/carry on fitting.
