The speakers of my D2 have started to die, the 2 rear subs in the back door have blown and the passengers door middle speaker (the one with HK written on it) is buzzing like mad. question is Ive been told that these speakers are hard to replace as theyre the amplified system and it doesnt like aftermarket speakers. Im guessing LR will want millions for new ones and theres no point buying second hand ones, so can I replace them with aftermarket ones by cutting the connectors off the old speakers and joining them to the new ones?? anyone done this??

taa!:)

Dont know how hard they are to change but i saw a full set on Ebay this morning, id post the link but im at work and cant get onto ebay from here as its blocked. I was searching Landrover Discovery TD5 and they had just been listed(not by me or anyone i know) Worth a look you may get them cheap.
