Morning all,
Recently got myself a D2 ES and as I'm a bit of a hooligan with my car stereos, wanted to update the old girl with something more than cassette and a 6-under-the-seat.
Found some confusing and in places conflicting advice on how to run an aftermarket stereo with the amped HK highline system (as there are no direct feeds to speakers from the head unit).
Did some more searching and ended up risking my biscuit with a relatively pricey adaptor kit which I've confirmed works with minimal fuss, so wanted to share it here for anyone still looking!
The kit is by incartech and can be found here.
This is plug and play, all one needs to do is adjust the volumes on the adaptor block to suit.
Happy listening!
