Hello folks. I am new on here so bear with me. Would anybody on here happen to know a good Landrover mechanic who can do this job for me for a reasonable and fair cost. Currently have the car on my driveway and cant move it as the clutch release arm is seized. I would normally do this job myself but am recovering from an operation and am simply not up to it. I need someone reliable and who knows their way around a Freelander. ( I had one mobile mechanic who came round and when talking to him about the job and what I wanted doing he said to me " What's an IRD ? "". Unbelieveable but true!! No surprise that I sent him on his way. Anyway folks I will leave this thread with you kind folks on here and perhaps someone will come through for me. I am in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.

My Freelander is in pretty good nick. I replaced the water pump, timing belt/tensioner and did a full service on it end of September. It sailed through its Mot and I taxed it for a year until Oct 2014. Then the clutch arm seized on me just after I came out of hospital. ( Typical ). I am simply not up to doing this job myself at the moment so if any of you kind folks on here can help me out I'd be very grateful.
