Replacing 110 rear side window glass

Any tips on how to do this? Got new glass to replace one that self-destructed in the frost. Can't seem to get it in putting the top in first, then it will not go over bottom lip. Local landy dealer said it was tricky and time consuming! Help!

I think you have to pull the trim off and drill out the rivets and remove the frame from your landy, then the frame can be unscrewed to remove one side to replace the glass. I remember reading a thread on this some time back on another forum,

Think you are right. Have discovered the rivets under the trim. Hey ho! Off to the pop rivet shop.

Good luck, dont forget you will need some sealing mastic to refit.

This link is for video's on removing the window, watch the videos 1 - 5 in the tread as it shows how to remove the glass and seals and replace the glass and put it back together, some parts are not relevant but they will help and there are some useful tips.
My top tip would be to cover the glass with thick cardboard to stop rivet gun hitting the glass as it does in video 5
