Most probably been covered before ,is it relativly basic to replace Ace with a standard Anti Roll bar . What do you put in place of the pump?{being a thicky dos pump supply power steering also?}

You can buy an idler pulley to replace the ACE pump. You will have a separate pas pump.

Where can you get the pully to replace the ace pump from,is it a kit.
Can you then use a standard belt for now ace cars.
Mine is a GS so has aircon,ace air suspension.But the bearing have gone on the pump and one of the rams is leaking. The pipes not far behind as its a 99 TD5 with 186,000 on it :doh:

U can put one of these LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2 TD5 ANCILIARY BELT IDLER non ACE | eBay and use a non ACE belt or u can leave the pump in place, join the outlet of the pump with the return pipe and leave the oil in the tank ...it will circulate through the pump without ruining it and u can use the pump later for a hydraulic winch... a friend of mine did that and works marvelous

if u do that u can leave he pump there untill it worns;)

It sounds like pretty much all of your ACE system is shot, so you might be as well just getting rid of it entirely.

You will need to remove the rams back and front, anti rollbars back and front, all the pipework,the valve block (which you could sell), the pump and it's pipes to the header tank.

Once stripped of ACE kit you will then install non ACE arb's front and rear, replacement pulley (in place of the pump); aircon/non ACE fanbelt.

You also need to tell the cars electronic systems that the car is now running non-ACE - to avoid any fault codes/warning lights.

my mate replaced the ace pump and thats all hes done, and it rides fine & he cancelled warnnigs with his nanacom hand held device
