Replacement Ignition Key.

Hi fellas,
Can't seem to find an answer regarding earlier Defenders like my 200tdi but basically I am looking for a second ignition key. I bought the Landy with only one set of keys so could do with getting a spare ignition key cut. Would I be right in thinking that any decent locksmith will be able to cut one or is it a Land Rover job with VIN number? Obviously no complex immobiliser issues with this vehicle, just looks like an easy to copy standard flat shaped key.
Any ideas most welcome, thanks.

Timpsons can usually cut - their larger stores have the blanks in stock, otherwise they can order in.

Charged me £20 for an ignition key and three smaller keys (doors, rear door and filler cap). Took them about 3 minutes!

Cheers SH ... I have found a local locksmith who keeps the blanks in stock, nice to have a back up though
