Afternoon all.:)
Have just taken the front y section off my car (where the cats are) as it is blowing, fell apart as i took it off (Hoooray for lazy sundays) and was wondering if anyone has had or seen this section in three parts ie two connecting pipes from the manifolds which would then connect to the y peice so's i did not need to take off the gearbox mount cross section. I'll make them if i have to but was just hopeing.

Cheers, Nick.

I've just bought these bits, and yes the cats and Y piece are in 3 sections. It's made by Bosal, so half way decent.

I bought them from Island 4x4 on Sheppey (Kent):

Island 4x4 - High quality aftermarket parts for your Land Rover Freelander, Discovery, Defender and Range Rover.

They also sell some parts on eBay. There are other exhausts on there but I'm not sure if they're 3-piece or not. However there is one seller selling the cats and Y piece for £200! eBay.co.uk: Range Rover cat catalyst catalytic conv 1994-1998 v8 (item 320086316689 end time 01-Mar-07 18:11:30 GMT)

I bought the Cats and centre box from Island 4 x4 for £375. I didn't pay P&P as I collected, so factor that in. I paid the extra because it was in 3 parts and I could collect and take back if not 100% happy.

HTH

I was going to say island-4x4 too as i`ve used them before and was very happy with the service and the price, they are the cheapest sellers of air springs and many other items.

Shame their website doesnt show all their inventory. I tried to answer someone elses question about alternators but I cant find the one I purchased from Island4x4.

I can only assume that the website doesnt have true stock status ability.

Cheers you Guy's but they don't fit the Thor engine he say's. I'll try and find out why. In the mean time i've got some being made for about 30 pounds.

Cheers, Nick.
