Hi.
I've managed to scratch the boot panel pretty badly, whilst fitting a rear 12v accessory socket (comes from using a drill and file!) :doh: I know I can't literally 'fix' plastic that's been scratched down to a lighter colour quite deeply, but maybe there's a way to do a botch job on it. Thought of a marker pen but the colour would be too dark. Then thought of can of 'back to black' we all used to use back in the day, yet I think it's not really the right thing to use as I don't think it sinks in to hide the marks.
Are there any ways to get around this? I don't want to have to buy a new panel (would cost a fortune) and the days of a Max Power esque Nova SRI leather boot install, are probably beyond me. I did think of it though!
Probably it's a case of don't scratch the trim at all, but still if someone's managed to do a patch up job on some nice plastic trim scratches please can you let us know?
