The headlining clips in the defender are push in with lots of flexi rings on the pins a pair of pincers is probably the best tool to use or a thin flat bar with a slot cut in it.

u r sure??I dont want ta find I've been rite royally WOUND up when I find I'm left with an entire headlining FLAPPIN around inside me landy!!

A trim removal tool is what you really need. It is as red describes. A thin strip of metal with a v or slot in it. I used a screwdriver and then a pair of pliers to remove mine the other day. As long as you just use the screwdriver until you can get the pliers on the clip rather than trying to lever it all the way out you should be ok. Tryu one somewhere inconspicuous to test it out. I had to remove the ones in the rear of the tub.
