Quick question, can I drive my V8 disco 2 without the front prop for a couple of days until the new one is delivered or is it not advised?

you can, but only if you lock the central diff, and seing it's from 2000 even if you dont have the linkage you can lock it directly from the spigot on the transfer box with a 10mm spanner
