as above, would that work?

i know its the cv joint, classic clicking under tight turning, mostly when under power though i have a few journeys to do before the parts arrive and i want to make sure i dont knacker anything else doing the trips.

would be fine if it wasnt my only car

Still, its a 1986 110 'fender with original tranny and lt77 gear box 300tdi conversion (not that it really would matter)

any thoughts or advice appreciated, particularly warnings of if it is going to handle differently :D

i would remove front prop run in diff lock, dont turn in full lock and use if clicking seems relieved shouldnt get worse with no drive torque to it ,but depends how bad it is so be cautious

Someone else is driving now so takes some pressure off.
hopefully parts will arrive shortly and can actually fix it rather than bodge it
