Cannot believe I have not had time to get this sorted yet, said I would do it in April, anyways.

My Rover 75 has a lazy locking/venting feature, hold the key in the door unlock position and all windows will open. Hold the key in the door lock position, all windows close. I love this feature, especially when walking away and notice a window open, or it is so hot the leather takes the skin off your back. Tap a RF unit into the 75's BCU lazy locking and venting windows up/down request pins, for wireless remote control windows.
The Freelander being designed by MG Rover, I am surprised (that I can find) that the CCU does not have this feature, even though not featured, I though maybe it uses the same BCU/CCU, but it appears not.
Going by part number is no good in this case.

According to the schematics, the only window I can send a signal to from the CCU is the back door window request pins (CCU D170) C0428-10 tail window up, and (CCU D170) C0428-11 tail window down.

I cannot find anything for lazy locking/venting in the CCU schematics. Does anyone know if I have missed anything. Are lazy locking/venting pins there on the CCU unconnected, or a non existent optional feature on the Freelander, and the CCU just controls the windows individually. Come the spring I intend to tap into the CCU for ideas I have, but I don't have time to fiddle about taking it out just for a look see.

My only other option seems to be a reversing polarity RF unit. Button A will send + signal from terminal 1, and a - signal from terminal 2, button B will reverse the signal polarity from terminals 1 & 2.
From what I can see, the only place to do this is the drivers door window switches, the single relay RF unit being the size of a matchbox, will easily fit into the void under the switch.
Tap into the eight passenger doors pos & neg window wires, connect them to the RF unit set to non latching, so SWMBO cannot accidentally leave the RF unit relay closed. Button A will open all the windows, button B will close all the windows, for as long as the buttons are depressed. The RF relay being normally open will not cause any feedback I assume.

The R40 uses a CCU system based on the BMW E46, rather than the system used by Rovers of the time. So the R40 inherited the more advanced features fitted to the BMWs, but the Freelander didn't.
