Remote locking not working????????????

HI GUYS
Any idea whats wrong as my remote locking/unlocking is not working when i press the key fob, i have tried 2 keys, (new batteries in keys) can lock the doors with button on dash, just not working with either key remote?

sounds like fobs have lost sync - there is a procedure on here to re-sync them

Has the remote locking ever worked? Also have you tried with the fob beside the drivers side rear quarter panel?

yes remotes working fine, this morning locking/ unlocking etc., went out this afternoon and they both did not work

how do i re-sync the keys? its a 2004 r r vogue

yes very easy to do , took all of 3 mins that was to sync both keys

Did your re-sync fix the issue?

I have the same issue with the remote, i bought a new key, re-synced both keys. Everything worked until the next day when the keys (both) would not unlock. used the key to manually unlock, went for a quick spin and then it locked perfectly with the remote. it appears random.

also the lower rear door sometimes decides not to open when using the touch switch.

any thoughts
