remote inop RR4.6 95 HSE

hi, can anyone help with p38 c/locking inop on front doors,both rear doors & tailgate lock when locked by key in drivers door,pass front dose not lock,when lock the doors from inside pass front everything locks apart from drivers door. Outstations are click when push door knob n/s & o/s but not by remote.theses only 4.7volt signal when locking, should it be 12volts...........please help.....thanks CRAIG:doh::doh::doh::

Hi Just fixed my front c/locking last week. The motors had failed in both front doors giving the same symptoms as yours. You can either buy two new actuators for the front doors at £140 each. Or buy second hand items if you can find any. I was unable to find good secondhand items so I bought two used rear actuators at £30 each, took out the motors and put the motors in the front units. All works correctly now. The hardest part is taking the actuators out of the doors. The drivers side actuator has a rod which connects to the door key as well. Hope this helps. Dean
