Remote Central Locking Problem

Can anyone help?

We have recently bought a P Reg Discovery 2.5 TDI. It's in great condition for the year, but one thing that we only realised once we had got it home was that, when you lock the car, only the four doors lock. The back door actually unlocks.

It the same if you unlock the car - the four doors unlock and the back door locks. The back door does the opposite of the rest of the car - but the remote central locking is obviously working...!

Does anyone know why this might be happening - or how we can fix it?

Also, which manual do you recommend for Landy's? I've always had the Haynes ones before, but didn;t know if there was something better for the Landy's...

Boot door CL actuator out of sync with the rest. Remove the door card and undo the actuator from the door and detach the rod, lock and unlock the doors with fob and reconnect the actuater and rod with the boot door in the same state as the other doors ie. unlocked.

Out of sync doesn't happen on it own so the actuator may have been removed at sometime and reconnected with the door unlocked but the others were locked.
