Remote audi control/Freelander

Hi, first post so be gentle. The remote audio paddle on the steering rack has come loose, how do i re-attach the damn thing. There is a hole just above the paddle, does it take some sort of pin? The paddle still locates, but i dont have a clue how it fixes.
