Just bought a 1997 4.6 HSE on coils.
I would like to refit the air. I still have the sensors fitted but they are unplugged, the ecu under passenger seat, the valve block.
So I guess I need 4 air bags and a compressor, also the relay is missing as well as the control fuse.
I would buy the Dunlop pump and bags to keep things oem.
How would I resync the system with the becm and what checks can I do to test what is left on the car.
Many thanks Jerry

Have a word with kurtjohnson10 (use the envelope symbol top right of page), he has pump's, you will neeed a cable and disc from datatek to use with your laptop and the bags from the likes of Island 4x4 or Paddocks. Check out Wammers EAS guide in the Technical Archive. Welcome and well done for geting it back as it should be.

Welcome, you may want to get a kit and rebuild the valve block to go with new pump or rebuild the old pump, its not hard to do and there is lots of backup help on here if needed.

The pump is missing so was going to buy a new Dunlop item.
As for the valve block are there any checks I can do without dismantling the unit, ie bench test it with an air line?

I have just rebuilt mine - it is a simple task and inexpensive (guide http://paulp38a.com/range-rover-p38/eas-valve-block-renew/)

Better off to replace all o rings, NRVs, diaphragm etc and check operation of solenoids.

Kurt has just sorted me out with some items - very good of him.
