did you know that mobile cranes run on red diesel because they come under agricultural plant...if your not running landy on public roads then put red in it..but be warned the dye will stain the inside of your tank so if you put normal diesel in and drive on the public roads it will show red....

what happens if the landy is a new toy and the dye traces are there from the previous owner...
... guess anyone buying a used diesel should keep milage records and diesel receipts for twelve months or so (perhaps longer) just in case....

I just read a bit of the op.As far as I know red diesel die can be detected years after a fill.
Red diesel is now green here.
