Hi all, seems my 3rd and 4th gear syncro are f**ked - soo, dilema i'm left with is whether to go for a recon (have seen them on ebay for about £400) or have the old gearbox repaired.
Now I don't have time, space or heavy lift kit to do it myself but been quoted £250 for taking one out and putting another back in (whether it be old or recon box!!)
Quote to fix syncro is about £350 - same sort of price as recon I guess - question is, what would you all do??
mmmm . . . writing this, think i've probably answered my own question!! lol . . . unless anyone is from Nottingham area and got time and facilities to help out
