rebuild question

hi guys decided to buy myself another p38 but as i have a 1 month old daughter and its going to be the main family car i has to be reliable so i want the engine overhauled so its not gonna go anytime soon.
any suggestions of places and prices that dont make you wallet feel to sick ????

no offence but, peeps and spent 1000s and 1000s trying to get a reliable P38, and have failed - what makes you think buying a Ford Focus, or a Discovery if you really need 4WD, wouldn't be a more sensible idea ?

ive got a 02 audi a4 2.4 v6 quattro sport now that is beautiful but i just love the range, since getting rid of the last one ive had 7 series bm's, this audi and various others but they just dont do it for me. just thought that a decent overhaul on the engine might be a very worthwhile thing as i dont really want day to day running issues doin my head in

There can only really be one place for the job, and thats John Eales. Don't expect him to be cheap though.

TBH, isn't a reliable 4.0 / 4.6 RV8 a bit of an oxymoran? I've even heard of the brand new CosCast blocks slipping liners.

so would my best option be a 2.5 diesel or possibly an engine transplant, if so what engines are possible ?????

or come to me cheaper than je and all the others and just as good if not better ask fett he has seen my classic and i fixed his classic as well

Its a fairly easy task to build a V8 as long as you have money and access to a skimmer you are away.
