If you can, pull back the top of the long black trim to see the metal sill behind, they can be a corrosion point which you won't know about until the plastic trim starts hanging off.

63k on the clock. Will get a fresh MoT and fuel/ timing belts changed, by a local landy specialist. Comes with two keys, FSH, main dealer and land rover specialist stamps. 2 owners from new. Also comes with 12 month warranty (which includes potential damage due to the well known cam shaft issue) which I have extended to 24 months at my own expense.
Thank you all for the help and suggestions of what to inspect/ look out for. And may god have mercy upon my soul (and wallet).

Wee update. Dealer got the MoT done that I wanted. Looks like there was a couple of issues, one was break pipe corrosion. I have decided to walk away. Sad as this motor ticked a lot if boxes, but might have been a bit of a nail.
