Ordered a steering and diff guard off of them Wednesday afternoon and turned up this morning, pretty good I thought. Has anyone had to fit the steering guard before, out of curiosity, I haven't offered it up yet but will on Sunday. Anything I need to look out for?

Anyway, not a bad company tbh, not bad postage price for the weight either :)

Cheers

Ye, they still cut there name out of them. Seen as this is my first land rover I was just curious on if it was a big job or not, hence asking people who are going to know. To be fair I was wondering how the rebel steering guard fitted, straight and easy or a fiddle, so I wasn't expecting a comment like the last one tbh.

Thanks for the replays though

mind you dont snap steering box bolt , had to flash a little heat on the last two i fitted
but not hard job , but would recomend spraying the bolts with wd40 a few hrs before fitting guard

Always expect a comment like that!

Not having a go :D it's all fitted now, didn't need heat, just plenty or winding back and forth and a squirt with wd40. Quite impressed, mind you....heat may have reduced it to less then 4hours to fit lol.

Thanks for the help and advice all
