I am trying to fit a rear work light on my 2004 disco, I have looked at this thread

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/rear-work-light-without-making-holes-145899.html

and have bought a hella work ligh and a sirius cb gutter mount however it won't fit over the gutter trim.
I was just woundering if anyone else has mounted one here without having to trim the gutter trim in order to get the sirius mount onto the gutter. is there any other way of mounting this.???????????????

any help appreciated:confused:

You could mount the worklights on a roof bar ;)

I pictured my Sirius mounts on the back of my DII, in my post in that thread - http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/1456017-post14.html

I had to cut the drip rail finishing trim to get them to fit.

I wasn't too bothered about it, as the trim was already cracked and a bit manky

But if your trim is OK and you don't want to cut it, you'll have to try and find a mount with a deeper throat.

There's a few other types of gutter mount on eBay, but none of them give detailed dimensions and they all look similar in size to the Sirius mount.
