Rear wiper motor

Hi all,
Going through the M1 roadworks this morning back window got a bit dirty, put rear wash wipe on, washer works fine wiper moved about 3 inches and stopped, never to work again. Checked the fuse that was fine.
Does anyone know of any known problems with the motor or does anyone know of any quick fixes, or where the cheapest place is for a replacement.
Maybe someone on the forum might have one for sale.

I have 200 tdi and the same happend but when I stipped the motor out, the bearing had siezed, I got one from a local bearing supplier for £11 rebuilt it and away it went. Hope this helps as a possible solution.

Thanks for that geoffo, I've got tomorrow off work, I'll strip down the motor and have a look.
