Rear Windows

I've got a 1996 300tdi Disco with electric windows front and rear. The problem is that the rear windows decide themselves when they want to work. We opened them yesterday when we left Oulton Park because it was roasting inside but 10 minutes down the road they refused to close resulting in a trip down the M6 with the windows down. Even if you turn the ignition on and off, take the fuses out, hitting the door and swearing at them does'nt even work

We get home and go in the house, deliberately ignoring the windows to teach them a lesson, come out 10 minutes later and they close when we try the button again


WTF is going on ????????
