Rear Windows open by themselves

Today I found my rear windows open when I started the car. I had not left them open. I closed each one with the center console switch and they would immediately open. I could not keep them closed. I have been parking the Rover outside the last few weeks because I have another car in its spot in the garage. Has anyone else experienced this situation? Thanks in advance.

First, and fairly simple, thing to try would be to close the windows then disconnect the switchpad. This will tell you if it's this or the ECU that's at fault.

try closing and locking with the smart lock system that is pressing the key fob lock button and holding down this should close all windows and sunroof and lock the car

The BeCM could be damp if you have it outside and there is a leak into the car!!

I do no know why or the relationship, however, the driver's door actuator was the culpritl When I secured the pin that attaches to the door handle, the rear windows raised by themselves. It remains a British Mystery!
