Rear Window Strange Problem

Hi all

Ive got a problem with my rear window, when i open the rear door the window doesnt go down but i can push the window down a bit by hand to get the door open and when i close the door the windows goes up as it should, the window works as it should from the switch inside.

Ive tried recalibrating but still no fix, is there anything else i can do to sort out? or is it a new cables and motor

Get some lube in there as a first response. To get to it properly you need to take the door card off obv. You can get oil on the top pulleys of the mechanism by removing the outer weather seal that runs atop the metal part of door - a self tapper at each end as I recall. worth a go with WD40 or sum such!
