- rear window heater fuse blowing

Hope you all had a good Christmas.

Got a problem with my rear window heater fuse. Its blown and as soon as I put in a new one and tried it that blew immediately.

Any experience of where the fault might lie? We've had floods here and being an old on its way out disco it leaks like a colander, wondering if waters got in somewhere?


Any ideas welcome. thanks in advance

It''s not a problem with the fuse it's just doing it's job

The problem is with the 12v supply to the screen heating element, it has a direct short to earth or maybe depending on what model of disco you have the heating elements in both external mirrors as they are on the same circuit ,so that's a good place to look at first.
