Rear View Mirror

My rear view mirror , Automatic type, is fogged up and the mirror is degrading at the edges.
How easy is it to replace? Does is just pop off the ball joint or is it more complicated?

Try a search. Replace it quick before it leaks.

Agree with Datatek, its about to blow and leak out horible black stuff. No repair possible get a replacement fast, easy to fit.

depends on year slides off from screen downwards or twist off on later models not from ball joint , but all demount from mirror boss on windscreen be gently as not to damage screen if to heavy handed

OK and thanks I will buy one of Fleabay.
I will get just a normal one with manual dipping as they seem to £60+ for an automatic.
I am assuming of course this can just pop on with the existing ball>
is this true before I commit?
