Rear veiw mirror gone cloudy

my p38 RR has one of those interior mirrors that dims on the push of a button. I never used it as the rear window has privacy film which takes care of headlight dazzle. My problem is that my mirror went cloudy a couple of months ago apart from one small area about an inch or so wide. It looks like some kind of fluid has leaked inside.

Is this a costly replacement. Anyone know of any bargain suppliers?
