Hi there, just a quick query that I hope to god someone can help with. I am changing out the rear suspension on my rangie (it finally started giving out after ten years) and having removed the split pins and air lines i cannot get the top of the suspension to budge from the chassis. The bottom comes out no problems. As i have to use the car tomorrow, I will resort to drilling out the resin top end to the bag to loosen it from the chassis unless anyone has any advice to the contrary.

Many Thanks

Standard problem. A large crow bar and a lump hammer got mine out. It's almost like a seal, once you break it at one point the bag just falls out, well they did on mine.

Likewise,a large crowbar placed on top of the metal section and with a couple swift jerks on the other end of the bar and my rear bag shot right out.
The first one simply came out with a hand tug. There always seems to be one that is difficult!!

Probly a bit late now but me too!

One dropped out but the other was stuck fast.

I found the hardest part was reconnecting the o/s airline properly as it was a bit short.
