I have been trying to dry out my 1995 Discovery and have a question regarding the rear sunroof drainage.
The other week when we had those torrential rains I noticed for the first time the roof lining at the top of the windcsreen on the passenger side was soaked.
Now, the other week I found some holes in my guttering on the passenger side and presumed that was the source of my damp passenger footwell carpet. That was cleaned and filled weeks ago so should be ok.
When the rain stopped I decided to check the drain holes. The front sunroof was fine. both sides the water dribbled out the holes on the sill in front of the doors.
The rear was a different matter. Tipped a little water down each side, got on my hands and knees to check where it drained to and nothing. Ony a dry floor.
Then I noticed some water on my rear side window seal at the top, so the water has dribbled inside.
Where should the drain holes send the water? what am I looking for outside?
Is there a method to clear the drain holes?
I dont want to seal up the electric roof as my kids will be with me in the summer and I am sure a rear sunroof will be used a lot.
Thanks in advance.
