Is there a kit for the fittings that hold down the side panels?
The ones that fit into the large diameter holes in the cappings.

Or is it a case of having to buy induvidually?

Mine were all seized / corroded to the point of failing.

Soft top is coming off for the winter.

Not listed as a kit in my parts manual. The studs/bolts are MRC9833, nuts to match FN108041L. There are L shaped brackets too, 338552 at the back, 332201 in the middle and 338554/MUC1324 at the front.

Cheers Zea, I was struggling to find them on various online parts manuals (im chuffin useless at that sort of thing mind)

haha apparently FN108041L has been superceded

how the feck do you supercede a normal m8 nut ffs.

If you can weld, it would be easy to fabricate the mounts from a bit of threaded bar and some washers - and it would probably be better than the standard parts, which are pants. (expensive pants)

yeah i guess it would be easier. some long bolts, big washers, bit of tube to centralise it in the capping.

in fact you wouldnt even have to weld it, it could all be assembled loose.

chuff it, ill do it that way. Good idea!

Cheers for saving me £40! (no you dont get a %)

will do. I will have a look and see what i need tonight and get it ordered.
I could do it now with threaded bar but itll look cack. Better to do a proper job ;)

I spent ages looking for those and I got them at a reasonable price in the end. You might have already ordered them, but I'll check out my orders and see where I got them from and for what price.

Had a quick look and can't find which invoice they are on, I've got quite a few! o_O I think it was Island4x4 for the bolts and proper rubber washers. I used screwfix 32mm washers and M8 nylock nuts on top of those.
